McLeod Terry G. McLeod, 51, a former middle school teacher with Madison County Public Schools, died Monday, April 15, 2002, at his home in Mancelona, Mich., following a lengthy illness. Williams Richard Kimsey Williams, 71, of Nicholson, died Sunday, April 14, 2002, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Madison County on September 27, 1930, Mr. Williams was a son of the late John Quilla and Hopie Chandler Williams. He had been employed as a truck driver and was a member of Blacks Creek Baptist Church. Chandler, 68, of Danielsville, died Saturday, April 13, 2002. A native and lifelong resident of Madison County, Mr. Chandler was a son of the late Raymond and Mary Adams Chandler. He was a farmer and was a member of Union Baptist Church, Hull, where he served as a deacon. Mr. Chandler was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Singletary officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Youngblood was born in Franklin County on November 22, 1934, a son of the late Paul Youngblood and the late Annie Ruth Chastain Youngblood Hill. His step-father was the late Floyd Hill. Mr. Youngblood worked in the Granite Shed Industry and attended New Hope Worship Center. He was preceded in death by a brother, Fred A. Youngblood. Born in Starkville and raised in Newton, Miss., Ms. Benner was a daughter of the late Jack F. Benner and Mary Helen Addy, and the step-daughter of the late Ernest L. Addy. She had made her home in Hull since 1967 and was retired from the Environmental Protection Agency as a research lab technician, with 20 years of service. While employed with EPA in research, Ms. Benner was a recipient of the Bronze Medal for meritorious service. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 25, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, with Steve Watson officiating. (Goat) Wages Sr., 71, of Monroe, died Thursday, April 18, 2002, at Walton Medical Center. Mr. Wages had been employed with Thomas Concrete as a diesel mechanic and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He served in the Korean War. Mr. Wages was a son of Rober and Gladys Wages and Frances P. Mobley. Moore Mrs. India Loggins Browner Moore, 79, of Athens, died Sunday, April 14, 2002. Born in Hall County, Mrs. Moore was a daughter of the late Sanford and Emma Loggins. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Anderson, and four brothers, Tom Loggins, Buck Loggins, Clyde Loggins and Rob Loggins. He had lived in Hall County since 1967 and was retired from the City of Gainesville Public Lands and Building Department, where he was assigned to the City of Gainesville Police Department. Mr. Worley was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Chandler Worley. Donahoo, 58, of Athens, died Sunday, April 14, 2002. A native of Lincoln, Ala., Mr. Donahoo was the son of Lucille Donahoo, Commerce, and the late Mack E. Donahoo. Mr. Donahoo was a U.S. Army veteran, an ordained deacon and a Mason. A 29-year resident of Athens, he was retired from the University of Georgia and was a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church. Mr. Donahoo also served as a volunteer with WMSL Radio. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at Prince Avenue Baptist Church with the Revs. Bill Ricketts and John Verschuren officiating. Burial was in Jackson Memorial Gardens, Commerce. He was a safety and training coordinator for Jackson EMC and was a member of Galilee Christian Church, Jefferson.
