Ginn Mrs. Dora S. Ginn, 86, of Danielsville, formerly of Royston, died Wednesday, December 26, 2001, at Cobb Memorial Hospital, Royston. Mrs. Ginn was born in Hart County on April 13, 1915, a daughter of the late Joel Martin Seymour and the late Millie Partain Seymour. She was a retired inspector with Oxford Manufacturing and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Mrs. Ginn was preceded in death by her husband, W. Emiel Ginn. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 29, in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, with the Revs. James Creason, Frank Owens and John Kay officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Ginn’s grandsons served as pallbearers. Survivors include four sons, W.E. Ginn, Houston, Texas, Robert C. Ginn, Royston, Thomas M. Ginn, Marietta, and Edward A. A native of Union County, Mrs. Duckworth was a daughter of the late Francis Ervin and Mary Jane Duckworth Collins. She was a homemaker and was a member of Carlton Baptist Church. Mrs. Duckworth was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Thomas Duckworth, three sons and a daughter-in-law, Walter Samuel Duckworth, Hoyt Eugene Duckworth and Carl Will and Shirley Duckworth, and a great-grandson, Tony Scott Willoughby. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2002, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Buddy Coile and Chester Hall officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She was retired from Chicopee Mills and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Mrs. Seagraves was preceded in death by her husband, James Roy Seagraves Sr., and a son, Halford Seagraves. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Hart was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Shiflet, and three sisters, Eunice Moon, Lottie McGee and Llewellyn Guest. Lord Jr., 72, of Maysville, died Saturday, December 29, 2001, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Lord was born May 8, 1925, in Banks County to the late Dee W Lord Sr. and Addie Jane Gee Lord. He was retired from Stein Steel of Atlanta as a steel fabricator and was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Lord was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict. She was retired from the University of Georgia, with more than 20 years of service, and was a former employee of Georgia Flower Growers Association.
