Wagner Mrs. Louise Elizabeth Wagner, 90, of Danielsville, died Tuesday, October 29, 2002. Born in Greenfield, Mass., Mrs. Wagner was a daughter of the late Edwin William Partenhimer and Lucy Mabel Weissenborn. She had been employed as a clerk with Sylmar High School, California. Mrs. Wagner was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Edward Wagner, and a son, David Wagner. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 1, in Glen Haven Memorial Park, Sylmar, Calif. A lifelong resident of Colbert, Mrs. Arrendale was the daughter of William Berry and Georgia Sims Morris. She was retired from Westinghouse, with 21 years of service, and was a member of Colbert Baptist Church. Mrs. Arrendale was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Lamar “Pete” Arrendale, and a daughter, Linda Jean Arrendale. Mr. Terry was born in Cobb County, a son of the late Robert Bartow Terry Sr. and Hilda Weatherly Terry. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic with Yancey Brothers and was of the Baptist denomination. Mr. Terry was preceded in death by a brother, Robert B. Mr. Segers was born in Hall County on June 7, 1930. He was a son of the late Clifton and Mary Pearl Higgins Segers, and was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Segers, a sister, Ovalene Holden, and a brother, Lewis Segers. Mr. Segers was a member of Duluth Masonic Lodge and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. He was self-employed as a painter and was a former employee of Cornelia Mill and Feed for 14 years. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 2, at Mountain View Baptist Church with the Revs. Garry Garrison, Clyde Garrison and James Harvey officiating. Taylor Mrs. Virginia H. Starrett Taylor, 68, of Royston, died Wednesday, October 30, 2002, at her home. Mrs. Taylor was born in Hart County on January 4, 1934, a daughter of the late Obie Estes and Emmer Hayes Starrett. She worked as a seamstress in the textile industry and was a member of West End Baptist Church, Elberton. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert, Hoyt, Branson, Albert and Fred Starrett, and three sisters, Mary Grace Wallace, Sara Cole and Louise Starrett. Carver, 80, of Ila, died Tuesday, November 5, 2002. A longtime resident of the Ila area, Mr. Carver was the son of the late Neil and Davey Carver. A native of Madison County, Ms. Hooper was the daughter of the late Joseph Walker and Pearl McElroy Brown. She was the widow of J.W. Hooper and was preceded in death by a grandson, Travis Hooper. Ms. Hooper was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. By prior request, Ms. Hooper’s desire was to have a private graveside service at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Hull, with only her family in attendance. The service was held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 1, with the Rev. J.L. Griffeth officiating.
