Mrs. Rich was born in Franklin County on April 25, 1926, a daughter of the late O.B. and Mattie Lee Phillips Cromer. She was a seamstress and a member of New Hope Worship Center. Mr. Lawrence was born July 1, 1944, in Banks County. He was a son of the late Bush and Dora Ausburn Lawrence. Mr. Lawrence was a former sub-contractor with Gwinnett County and was a cattle farmer. He was a member of Damascus Baptist Church. Mr. Lawrence was preceded in death by three brothers, James Lawrence, Pete Lawrence and Rudolph Ausburn. Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 14, at Damascus Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Todd officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. A native of Madison County, Mrs. Ford was born September 4, 1940, a daughter of the late David Roland Minish and the late Reba Hanley Minish. She was a member of Erastus Christian Church. Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Lackey, and a nephew, John Michael Bellew. She was employed with the University of Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 20, at Fairplay Baptist Church, Hull, with the Rev. Bob Bradford officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include three sisters, Diane Bradford, Cora A. Jones and Lillie Kelley, all of Athens; and five brothers, Billy Bradford, Grady Bradford Jr., Tommy Bradford, Larry Bradford and John Henry Bradford, all of Athens. The family is at the residence.
