Keefe Mrs. Jane West Keefe, 78, of Dan-ielsville, died Friday, July 4, 2003, at BJC Medical Center, Com-merce, following an extended illness. Mrs. Keefe was born July 29, 1924, in Pelham, the daughter of the late Robert and Jessie Sizemore West. She was a homemaker and a member of Ila Baptist Church. Mrs. Keefe was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Keefe Jr. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 7, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, with the Revs. Brian Stowe and Skip Wisenbaker officiating. Burial was in the Ila Cemetery. Eli Carlan, Webb Gordan, Sean Keefe, Will Keefe, Joe Tetu, Mark Savage and Timmy Gordan served as pallbearers. Survivors include four sons, Christopher R. Willoughby Mrs. Francine Brock Willoughby, 63, of Nicholson, died Saturday, July 5, 2003, at her residence. Born November 14, 1939, in Jackson County, Mrs. Willoughby was a daughter of the late Calvin and Hattie Patton Brock. She was a homemaker and a member of the Nicholson Congregational Holiness Church. He was employed in construction and was a member of Rogers Baptist Church, Commerce. A native of Kingsland, Ark., Mr. Griffin was the son of the late Cairo and Ruth Ozment Griffin. His first wife, Maysell Griffin, and son, William Keith Griffin, preceded him in death. Mr. Griffin served in Korea with the U.S. Air Force and was a retired service engineer. He was a member of Oconee Heights Baptist Church. A native of Madison County, Ms. Threlkeld was a daughter of the late Calvin L. and Mary Etta Burroughs Smith. She was the wife of the late Harold Livingston Threlkeld. Ms. Threlkeld was a homemaker and had worked at Blue Bell Sewing Plant for 27 years. She was also a columnist writer for The Comer News for over 40 years. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at New Hope Presbyterian Church with Minister Janet Williams officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Survivors include a son, Harold Smith Threlkeld, Comer; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and John Drew, Rome; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Dickson III Dr. Thomas Godwin Dickson III, 74, of Hull, died Saturday, July 5, 2003, at Cobb Memorial Hospital in Royston. Dr. Dickson was born in Pahokee, Fla., on August 1, 1928, a son of the late Thomas Godwin Dickson Jr. and the late Bennie Elliott Dickson. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Dr. Dickson was a retired veterinarian and was involved with numerous poultry related organizations. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Egger Dickson, and a son, Thomas Godwin (Tommy) Dickson IV. Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 7, in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, with Father Porter Taylor and Mrs. Patsy Wroten officiating.
