Born: July 23, 1908, in Madison County Parents: Kidd and Thomas I. Kidd Education: Bruce School Occupation: former owner and operator of Moon's Florist Member: Centerview Baptist Church, choir member. Sunday school teacher and a secretary in the adult department. Preceded in death by James Bineum Moon, who died March 23, 1999, and a son, James H. "Bill" Moon, who died Dec. 19, 1959. Survivors include a son, "Joe" Moon, of Salisbury; two daughters, Teresa Moon Riddle of Landis and Margaret O'Daniel of Concord; two brothers, Hoke Kidd and Wyman Kidd, both of Kannapolis; two sisters, Emma Carter of Kannapolis and Dorothy Starnes of Supply; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
