Died:  Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, at NorthEast Medical Center.
Services:  2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Centerview Baptist Church,
Kannapolis. 
Officiating:  The Rev. "Willie" Rash 
Burial:  Carolina Memorial Park.
Born:  July 23, 1908, in Madison County
Parents:  Kidd and Thomas I. Kidd
Education:  Bruce School
Occupation:  former owner and operator of Moon's Florist
Member:  Centerview Baptist Church, choir member. Sunday school teacher
and a secretary in the adult department.
Preceded in death by James Bineum Moon, who died March 23, 1999, and
a son, James H. "Bill" Moon, who died Dec. 19, 1959.
Survivors include a son, "Joe" Moon, of Salisbury; two daughters, Teresa
Moon Riddle of Landis and Margaret O'Daniel of Concord; two brothers, Hoke
Kidd and Wyman Kidd, both of Kannapolis; two sisters, Emma Carter of
Kannapolis and Dorothy Starnes of Supply; nine grandchildren; eight
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends at 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at
Centerview Baptist Church, 415 Walter St., Kannapolis
