Sorrow, Danielsville Dabney G. Sorrow Dabney G. Sorrow, 67, of 9675 Wildcat Bridge Road, died Monday, May 12, 2003. A native of Madison, Mr. Sorrow was a son of the late Horace and Mae Sue West Sorrow. He was an electrical contractor and was a member Rock of Ages Prison Ministry. He was also affiliated with Camp Maranatha. He was a member of Joy Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Sorrow, and two sons, Roger L. and David M. Sorrow. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Joy Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Black and Ray Jenkins officiating. The body will be placed in the church at noon. Burial will be in the Friendship Baptist Church cemetery. Survivors include four daughters, Kathy D. Hansford, Ila, Karen S. Crosby, Lavonia, LaVonne Shannon, Homer, and Tammy L. Hannah, Danielsville; a son, Ronald E. Sorrow, Danielsville; two sisters, Pat Martin, Clemson, S.C., and Florence Clem, Destin, Fla.; a brother, Gene Sorrow, Evans; 15 grandchildren; eight grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Sammy Shannon, Steve Filkins, Al Slaton, David Sorrow, Chris Parr and David Aldrick. The family is at the residence of Greg and Tammy Hannah, 252 Spring Branch Road, Danielsville, and will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Brown Funeral Home.
