Mrs. Martha Abernathy Rites

   Mrs. Martha K. Abernathy, 90, of Danielsville, died Saturday, June 17, at an 
Athens Hospital after a lengthy illness.
   Mrs. Abernathy was a native of Iowa, the daughter of the late Martenus and 
Ada Frank Ketman and was a member of the Danielsville Baptist Church.
   Funeral services were held Monday at 4:00 p.m. at the Brown's Funeral Home 
Chapel with Rev. Cranfill Brown officiating.  Burial was in the Danielsville 
Memorial Gardens with Brown's Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
   Pall-bearers were:  Chandler Baker, David Meadow, Robert Meadow, David 
Emory, Berry Puckett, and John Baker.
   Survivors include: daughter, Mrs. D. C. Baker; sister, Mrs. John Goedhart, 
Petia, Iowa; (5) grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
