Mrs. Daisye Bailey Rites

   Mrs. Daisye Mae C. Bailey, 41, Rt. 1, Comer, Ga., Meadow community, died 
Tuesday, June 20, 1978 at her home after a sudden illness.
   Mrs. Bailey was a native of Madison County, the daughter of Ralph and Ardell 
McElroy Chambers.  She was a bookkeeper, a member of the Holiness faith, and of 
the Order of Eastern Star.
   Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 22, at 5 p.m., at the Meadow 
Baptist church with Rev. Gene Todd and Rev. William Anglin officiating.  Burial 
was in the Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery with Brown's Funeral Home of 
Danielsville in charge of arrangements.
   Pall-bearers were:  Joe Paul Strickland, Robert Garrett, Gene Parham, Roger 
Williams, Mitchel Carey and James Garrett.
   Survivors include:  husband Howard (Speedy) Bailey, Comer; daughter, Mrs. 
Deborah Carol Hooper, Comer; two brothers, L. C. Chambers and Mickey Chambers; 
both of Comer; sister, Mrs. Tim Scarboro, Royston; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph 
Chambers, Comer; grandmother, Mrs. Daisy Chambers, Royston; grandfather, Mr. 
Hollis McLeroy, Danielsville.
