Peggy J. Barber

Mrs. Peggy Jane Gaddis Dowell Barber - Born 4 May 1952, age 48, of 
Danielsville, died Tuesday, June 6, 2000.

Born in Madison County, Mrs. Barber was a daughter of Mary Hunsinger Gaddis 
and the late Howard O. Gaddis.

She was a bookkeeper for Madison County and was a member of Macedonia Holiness 
Church.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 9, at Macedonia Holiness 
Church with the Revs. William Anglin and Artis Anglin officiating. 
Burial was in Danielsville Memorial Gardens. Tim Smith, Trampus 
Anglin, HC West, Frank Sanders, Carter Dove and Jerone Hill 
served as pallbearers.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Richard Barber; one son, 
Michael Dowell, Ila; three sisters and their husbands, Becky & Anthony Anglin, 
Danielsville, Wanda & Kendall Callaway, Carlton, and Donna & D'Wayne 
Hunsinger, Athens; four 
brothers and their wives, George & Lillie Gaddis, Billy & Tonia Gaddis, Jr. & 
Josephine Gaddis and Greg Gaddis, all of Danielsville; one grandchild Colton 
Dowell and several nieces and nephews.

Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
