Madison County Journal, November 3, 2004
Edward Cecil Bennett, 53, of Danielsville, died Friday, October 29, 2004, 
following an extended illness.  He was the son of the late Claude and Reba 
Bennett.

Survivors include sons, Chad Bennett and Robert Bennett Wood, both of Commerce; 
daughter, Jennifer Bennett, Gainesville; three brothers, Claude Bennett, Jr., 
Chula Vista, Calif., Sherman Bennett and Jimmy Bennett, both of Commerce; three 
sisters, Mary Ann Wood, Commerce, Eloise Alewine, Toccoa, and Shirley Sexton, 
Danielsville; two grandchildren; special friends Martha Gary and Rhonda Couch, 
both of Danielsville.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 30, in the chapel of Ivie Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Henry Webb and Ronnie Alewine officiating.  Ivie Funeral 
Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
