Effie Jon Berryman, 70, of Franklin Springs, died Monday, September 8, 2006, 
at the Cobb Memorial Hospital in Royston.

Born in Madison County on March 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late 
Hervin and Georgia Phillips Berryman. She was retired from Westclock and 
attended New Hope Worship Center.

Survivors include three sisters, Ruby Gilreath, Danielsville, Allene Phillips 
and Geraldine Moon, both of Franklin Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 21, in the chapel of Pruitt 
Funeral Home with the Revs. Dennis Kesler, Jonathan Randall, Harrison Lampley, 
Mike Spence and David Carey officiating. Burial was in the New Hope Worship 
Center cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
