OBITUARY Mr. Chas. N. Bird died at his home early Wednesday morning after an illness of six or seven days. He contracted blood poison from a small sore in his nose, after which pneumonia set in and he gradually grew worse in spite of the best efforts of doctors and nurses. Mr. Bird is survived by his wife Maude Campbell Bird, two young sons, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bird, three brothers, Mrs. George Bird, Mr. R.F. Bird, and Mr. Reese Bird, two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Bird Burroughts and Mrs. Evie Bird Logan--all of Ila. Interment in Ila Cemetery on Thursday afternoon, Rev. H.R. Boswell officiating.
