Faye Dora Bond, 85, of Royston, died Monday, July 26, 2005, at her residence.

She was born in Madison County on September 14, 1919, she was the daughter of 
the late Tardy Alexander and Estelle Brayan Bond. She was a retired overseas 
telephone operator having worked with Southern Bell and was a member of the 
Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. Miss Bond was preceded in death by five 
brothers, Roy, Willie, Carl, Hubert and Telford Bond, and two sisters, Ruby 
Bragg and Alma Bond.

Survivors include a sister, Corrie Bond, Royston; and several nieces and 
nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 29, in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral 
Home. Burial was in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
