Robert Lee Bond, 48, Las Vegas, Nev., was killed in a car accident Saturday, 
Nov. 13, 2004.

He was born June 26, 1956, in Royston, the son of the late Wallace Berry Bond 
and Lula Freeman and the grandson of Henrietta Hilley Bond, Danielsville, and 
the late Carson Bond. He was also the grandson of the late Lee and Etta 
Holcomb Freeman, Royston. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Tina 
Marie Bond.
Mr. Bond was a devoted husband and father and a dedicated Christian, who 
served Jesus Christ through a prison ministry, family members stated. He was 
also proud to have served his country in the United States Marine Corps. 

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Lou Bond, and young daughter, Savanna, Las 
Vegas; mother, Lula Bass, Hull; stepmother, Charlotte Collins Bond, 
Danielsville; sister, Ruth Bond Howell, Spartanburg, S.C.; brothers, Buck, 
Mike and Johnny Johnson and Toby Bass, Danielsville.  Other survivors are his 
precious daughters, Julie and Amber Bond and sons, Jason and Robert Andrew 
Bond of Lakeland, Fla., and a very special “brother-like” cousin, Alan Bond of 
Danielsville; and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 18, at the International Church of 
Las Vegas. Pallbearers were Jason and Andrew Bond, Danny Johnson, Jesse 
Goulart, Ron Tozier and Ron Reid. 

The funeral arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary-Cheyenne, Las Vegas, 
Nev.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
