Danielsville - Nellie Christian Brooks, 78, Route 3, Danielsville, died 
Saturday, January 7.
She was born in Madison County, a daughter of the late William and Fannie 
Westbrook Christian.  Her husband was the late Ethridge Brooks..  She was a 
member of Shiloh Baptist Church, where she served as secretary and treasurer.  
She received a 13 year pin for perfect Sunday School attendance and was a member 
of the WMYU and a former Sunday School teacher.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Shiloh Baptist Church with the Revs. 
Glenn Guest, Calvin Coile, and Dayton Logan officiating.  Burial will be in the 
church cemetery.
Surviving are a brother, Clarence Christian, Danielsville, and a sister, Pearl 
Bridges, Danielsville.
The body is at Pruitte Funeral Home in Royston and the family is at the 
residence and will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight.

Additional Comments:
Nellie Brooks was a wonderful Christian woman who loved all her nieces and 
nephews.  She was very talented in handiwork, making beautiful doilies and 
quilts. She never had any children of her own, but loved people and loved having 
visitors. Her gentleness and kindness will always be remembered by all who knew 
and loved her.
