Coile Frank Brown, 90, of Hull, died Monday, December 27, 2004.

Born on December 14, 1914, he was the son of the late John Glenn and Carrie 
Brown. He was a veteran having served in the United States Navy during WWII 
and was retired from his position as President of Smith, Boley-Brown, Inc. 
Throughout his lifetime he was very active in the Athens community, serving as 
an officer in the Lion’s Club, the Mt. Vernon Masonic Lodge #22, Athens Shrine 
Club, and Yaarab Shrine Temple of Atlanta. Mr. Coile was a member and deacon 
of Hull Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Lillie Rice Spratlin; three sons and 
daughters-in-law, Dr. Gerald Lavonne and Sima Brown, Timothy Rice and Celia 
Brown, and Titus C. Brown; grandchildren, Klara Brown Reilly, Suzanne Brown 
Fleming, Stefanie Brown Wright, Kristine Brown Pace, Timothy McQuaid Brown, 
John Brown, Javaneh Brown, and Taraneh Brown; eight great-grandchildren; and 
two sisters, Francis Bond and Lois Aiken, both of Hull.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 31, at 4 p.m., at Hull Baptist 
Church.

30610, Camp Maranatha, P.O. Box 53, Ila, Ga. 30647, or Hull Volunteer Fire 
Department, Hull, Ga. 30646.
