  Danielsville - Roy Lee Brown, 87, Route 1, died Thursday, July 18.

  Mr. Brown, a native of Franklin County, was a son of the late Noah and 
Lizzie Strickland Bronw, and the widower of Vinne Estell Sorrow Brown.  He was 
a retired dairy farmer and a member of Sonlight Baptist Church in Winterville.

  Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Brown's Funeral 
Home.  The Rev. Ernest Palmer will officiate.  Burial will be in Union Baptist 
Church Cemetery.

  Survivors include a son, Buford B. Brown, Colbert; four daughters, Louise 
Brown, Danielsville Vivia Haley and Kathren Haley, Hull, and Datha Lee 
Willoughby, Greenville, S. C.; a sister, Bernice Hilley, Comer; 22 
grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren, and thre great-great grandchildren.

  The family is at the residence and will receive friends at the funeral home 
today from 7 to 9 p.m.
