Hull - Mr. Noah Brown, 95, of Rt. 1, Hull, died Monday in the BJC Nursing 
Home, Commerce, following an extended illness.

  Mr. Brown was born in Franklin County, April 13, 1874, a son of the late J. 
D. and Rebecca Manley Brown.  He was a member of Rice Creek Baptist Church in 
Franklin County.  His wife was the late Lizzie Strickland Brown.

  Survivors include one son, Roy Brown of Huff; one daughter, Mrs. R. T. 
Hilley of Danielsville; one sister, Mrs. Donnie Smith of Athens; 13 
granchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren

  Funeral services will be held today at 3:00 p.m. from the Rice Creek Baptist 
Church near Royston.  Officiating ministers will be the Revs. Brock and 
Palmer.  Interment will follow in the Rice Creek Cemetery.

  Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
