Miss Burden Rites

   Miss Georgia S. Burden, 96, of Danielsville, a native and life-long resident 
of Madison County, died Saturday after an illness of several years.  She was a 
member of the Danielsville United Methodist Church and was a retired seamstress.
   She was the daughter of the late George W. and Mary Ann Jenkins Burden.
   Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Pope Miller of Hull and Mrs. John Sanders 
of Danielsville; and a nephew, George Burden of Richmond, Va.
   The funeral was held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Danielsville United Methodist 
Church with the Rev. W. H. Lewis officiating.  Burial was in the Old 
Danielsville Cemetery.
