Rudy Burroughs, Jr.
Rites Held

Rudy Burroughs, Jr., 30, of Rt. 1, Colbert, died Saturday at 10:30 p.m.

A native of Madison County, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Burroughs and 
the husband of Mrs. Faye Porterfield Burroughs.

Survivors in addition to his parents and wife are a son, Rudy Burroughs, III, 
of the home; a sister, Miss Christy Burroughs, Colbert; a grandmother, Mrs. 
Mattie Burroughs, Colbert; a number of aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Bernsteins Chapel by the 
Revs. Erwin Goss and Toby Broadwater.  Burial was in the Colbert Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Charles McCarty, Kenneth Arrendale, Mitchell Meadow, Billy 
Hancock, Bobby Carter, Roger James.

Honorary escort was Jeff Sharp, Harold Gaulding, Jr., Walter Smith, Danny 
Burroughs, Billy McCarty, Shorty Arrendale.
