She was the daughter of the late Ezra and Maudie Bridges Christian. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Denver Campbell, granddaughters, Heather Fitzpatrick and Erin Jones and brother, Willie Ray Christian. She is survived by children, Kathryn and Wayne Phillips, Sundance, Wyoming; Brenda and Berry Fitzpatrick, Hull, GA: Judy and Terry James, Colbert, GA; Rabun and Kathy Campbell, Saluda, SC; Tim and Sandra Campbell, Braselton, GA: Christian friend, Leon Brown, Colbert; 11 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Bullock, Danielsville, GA; brothers, Cleveland Christian, Colbert, GA and Robert Christian, Bogart, GA and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Campbell was a loving wife and mother. She was a clerk, seamstress and homemaker. She loved her church and Christian singing. She was a faithful member of Northside Baptist Church for forty years, choir member and Sunday School teacher. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST with interment to follow at Colbert Cemetery. Revs. Ralph Arnold, Burton Campbell, Tim Campbell, Wayne Phillips and Terry James will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the Madison County Senior Center, P.O. Box 777, Danielsville, GA 30633. Additional Comments: Winnie Mae Campbell was also the granddaughter of Susie Bridges. She was born in the Roger's Mill Community and lived in the Mason's Mill Community in Danielsville, GA before her family moved to the Colbert, GA area.
