She was taken seriously ill last Friday morning and gradually grew weaker until the end came. Mrs. Cartlidge has had much sorrow. Several years ago her only son, Hoyt, was drown at Watson Mill Plant. Last February she lost her life's companion, Mr. J. G. Cartlidge. She bore her sorrow and physical sufferings with Christian fortitude. Although deprived of her eyesight for several years, she is now able not only to enjoy the companionship of her loved ones who preceeded her to the grave, but can now see them. After funeral services Sunday evening her remains were interred at Paoli cemetery. The loved ones left behind have our heart-felt sympathy. May the God of all comfort, comfort them in their hour of sorrow and bereavement.
