ALLEN CHANDLER On last Saturday afternoon the death angel called the spirit of Mrs. Chandler to her heavenly home. Mrs. Chandler was a leader in her church and community and had always been a atrue wife and mother. She together with her husband have reared six children in the ______ and admonition of the Lord. She will be missed greatly by the church and community but most of all by her dear husband and precious children and though she has taken her flight to her heavenly home where there will be no more ______ and suffer for her but eternal joy and life everlasting, yet her influence will continue to live through the ______. Mrs. Chandler was always a patient, kind, gentle, loving woman. She was a shining light in her home and so the worth of her life will continue to shine here on earth and her spirit will be a bright shining light in the glory land. The funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Culbertson of Commerce, assisted by the Presbyterian pastor, Rev. Boswell of Ila. Her body was laid to rest in the Union cemetery. She leaves a husband, six children, a father and mother, four brothers and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her death. Let us so live that when our lives shall come to a close we may join her in heaven. Her toil is o'er, he work is done. She fought the fight, the victory won.
