CHEATHAM - Mr. Jesse R. Cheatham died Wednesday afternoon, April 20, 1938, at 
three-thirty (3:30) o'clock at his home in Hull, Ga., following an illness of 
one day.  He was 68 years of age.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lizzie 
Cheatham; daughter, Miss Nellie Cheatham of Hull, Ga.; five sons, Mr. Johnnie 
Cheatham of Clarkston, Ga., Mrs. Roger Cheatham, Mr. Raven Cheatham, Mr. 
Billie cheatham and Mr. Frank Cheatham of Hull, Ga.; and two granchildrenm, 
Miss Edna Cheatham and Master James Cheatham of Clarkston, Ga,  The funeral 
was this Thursday afternoon.  April 21, 1938 at three-thirty (3:30) oclock, 
from the Hull Baptist church.  Rev. A. E. Logan, pastor of the Hull Baptist 
Church, officiated.  Mr. Walter Spratlin, Mr. Truett Thompson, Mr. Dave 
Spratlin, Mr. Bines Burroughs, Mr. Claude Tolbert and Mr. Pope Miller served 
as pallbearers.  Interment was in the Hull cemetery.  McDorman-Bridges.
