H. Compton Dies Suddenly Wednesday Mr. W. H. Compton, age 56, died at his home near here early Thursday morning, following an attact of acute indigestion. He had been up and in town Wednesday and his death was sudden and unexpected, after suffering only a few hours. Funeral services will be conducted from Meadow church Friday afternoon with Rev. W. J. Nash, of the Pentecostal Holiness Church officiating. He was a member of Mt. Zion Pentecostal church. Interment will be in Meadow cemetery with Bernstein Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Compton had made his home in the county and was well known. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Lou Compton; three daughters Miss Jessie Compton, of New Orleans; Misses Madge and Janelle Compton, of Comer; four sons, Messers E. D., L. T., Ralph and Frank Compton; his mother, Mrs. A. P. Compton; four brothers, Messers J. K., Bob, T. N. and N. A. Compton.
