Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at eleven o'clock by Rev. John H. Simpson, at the Comer Presbyterian church. Interment was in the Comer cemetery. Surviving Mrs. Cook are her husband, W. T. Cook, a daughter Miss Elsie Cook; a son, Billie Cook, two sisters, Mrs. Gerald Birchmore of Comer, and Mrs. T. D. Jennings of Bogart. A native of this county, Mrs. Cook was widely known, beloved and respected, and her passing comes as a shock to all who know and loved her. Mrs. Cook was before her marriage Miss Lizzie Evans, a member of one of the pioneer families of the county. Her seeming untimely and sudden death come as a bereavement to the family and scores of friends both in Comer and Colbert and throught the county.
