James “Jimmy” O. Cooper, Jr., 65, of Colbert, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005.

He was the son of the late Bessie Thurmond and James O. Cooper, Sr. Mr. Cooper 
was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Cooper.

Survivors include sons, Johnny R. Cooper, Colbert, James O. Cooper, III, and 
Jeffery L. Cooper, both of Danielsville; daughter, Tammy Slusher, Titusville, 
Fla.; and a brother, Jerry T. Cooper, Hull.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 30, in the chapel of Brown Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Ray Jenkins officiating. Burial was in the Comer Cemetery.

Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
