John Dalton Rites

   John Henry Dalton, 58, of Rt. 2, Danielsville, Ga., died Sunday at Athens 
General Hospital.
   He was born in Hart County, a son of the late Doc and Alice Prichett 
Dalton.  He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, John H. Jones Lodge No. 348, 
and a veteran of World War II.  He was a operator at Overator Door Co.
   Services were held at 4 p.m. on Monday at Bethel Baptist Church by the Revs. 
Ray Jenkins, Roscoe McGaha, and Robert Thomas.  Burial was in the church 
cemetery.
   Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ozelle Dalton of the home; daughter, Mrs. 
Stiles Hopkins of Athens; son, James Henry Dalton of Danielsville and Jack 
Dalton of Watkinsville; brothers, Ridgeway Dalton of Greenville, S.C., Freemand 
and William Dalton of Danielsville; sisters, Mrs. Ophelia scarboro of comer, 
Miss Clifford Dalton of Danielsville and Mrs. Cora House of Elberton; 4 
grandchildren.
  Brown's Funeral Home of Danielsville in charge of arrangements.
