MRS. EVIE DANIEL DEAD

   Mrs. Evie Daniel died in Atlanta at the home of her son, Chas. Y. Daniel, 
on last Monday and was interred here by the side of her husband, the late Dr. 
George C. Daniel on Tuesday afternoon.  Mrs. Daniel's home with her husban was 
here for a long while, he having been ordinary of Madison county for twenty-
eight years, besides having begun his career as a practitioner in this 
county.  She had endeared herself to the people of the county by her lovable 
character and sweet disposition, trusting in God and being (kind) to those 
about her.  She was a member of the Presbyterian church, keepin the faith and 
living it.  She always had a tender feeling for those in distress, rendering a 
kindness unto them whenever possible.  Many glowing tributes are being 
attributed to her by her friends and acquaintances here where she is widely 
known and loved.  She is survived by two sons, Dr. J. S. Daniel of Dearing, 
Ga., and Mr. Chas. Y. Daniel of Atlanta, several grandchildren and one sister, 
Mrs. H. W. Bell of Jefferson, and a number of other relatives.  Deep 
sympathies are extended to the bereaved by the people of this, theiri native 
County.
