OTHA DAVID DEAD Mr. Otha David who died last Thursday Sept. 21 was about 55 year of age. His health has been bad for more than a year but he was acutely ill only about 16 days. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and held large farming acreage in this country. Although rather retiring and recluse in his habits, in health he had a cheerful easy disposition and could always say the funniest of things. He loved the beautiful in nautre, always loved flowers, and his mother said that even when a little child, he always wanted to be a clean and neatly dressed, and did not display the distaste for cleanliness that the average small boy shows. His last years have been peculiarly sad because of his failing health and his physical inability to conduct the rather large business which his large interests made necessary, this causing his much uneasiness and distress. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Nola Carrington David and two sons, Paul and Isaiah, by hismother Mrs. Olivia David, by two sisters, Mrs. Susie Mercier of Paoli and Mrs. Mary Goss of Atlanta and by one brother Mr. W.H. David of Comer. His funeral was held Friday afternoon in Bowman Baptist Church services were conducted by Rev. Langford of this place. Interment in Bowman cemetery.
