CHARLES W. DEAN PASSES TO BEYOND Mrs. Charsles W. Dean, 73, a beloved woman of Jones Chapel community passed away Monday, February 22, 1943. She had been ill for two months from a blood clot of the brain. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Jones Chapel Church with Rev. Cowart officiating. Interment was in the Jones Chapel cemetery with a lorge concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives attending to pay tribute to her memory. Mrs. Dean was a member of the Methodist Church and was a most consecrated Christian. She was a devoted wife an mother, a loyal friend to all and was held in highest esteem by all who know her. Before her marriage in 1900 she was Miss Hattie Boothe and was the last of her family to pass away. She is survived by her husband, a prominent farmer of Madison County; two daughters, Mrs. Loyd Manley and Mrs. Ethridge Craven, both of Danielsvlle; one son Lenzy A. Dean, Birmingham, Ala. and many other relatives all of whom have the sympathy of their friends.
