She was the daughter of the late John and Nancy Holbrook Shead. She was Baptist and a life-long member of Bluestone Baptist Church. Mrs. Dove was preceded in death by her husband, John Dove; son, Ralph Dove; and daughter, Virginia Dove. Survivors include daughters and Son-in-Laws, Lavinia & Bill Parham, Carlton, Sally & Pete Stephens, Winterville, Romelle & Randolph Kittle, Commerce, Carolyn & Wayne Crider, Danielsville, Lavonia & Weldon Hardman, Colbert; sons and Daughter-in-laws, Lonnie & Betty Dove, Comer, Lester & Beverly Dove, Danielsville, and James Daniel & Cindy Dove, Carolyn Strickland Dove, Comer Colbert; sister, Annie Haggerty, Aiken, S.C.; 16 grandchildren; Linda Parham Kidd; Mark Parham, Lanier Stephens, Lamar Stephens, Crystal Bell Graham; Stephen Bell. Leisa Cauthran Seabolt, Tracy Crider Sheats Jason Dove, Shirley Dove Tucker, Elizabeth Dove Lester; Tonia Dove Gaddis; Shelia Dove; Brian Dove; Melanie Dove Kidd; Terri Ann Dove; 29 great-grandchildren. Trent Kidd, Duane Parham, Dale Parham, Johnny Stephens, Audrey Stephens, Josh Graham, Morgan Bell, Brett Baker, Breanna Baker, Devon Sheats, Matthew Dove, Josh Tucker, Wade Tucker, Theresa Lester Williamson, Meranda Lester Russell, Bradley Gaddis, Michael Gaddis, DJ Pinero, Kayla Pinero Andrew Dove, Johnathon Dove, Caleb Dove, Brandon Smith, Victoria Smith, Josiah Kidd, Tristin Seymore Shianee Dove, Lee Deal two great-great-grandchildren Ben Lester; Tim Williamson Funeral services were held Saturday, January 21, at Bluestone Baptist Church with the Revs. David Lovely, Al Price and Ray Jenkins officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Jason Dove, Lamar Stephens, Mark Parham, Paul Seabolt, Johnny Stephens and Brian Dove. Honorary pallbearers were grandsons and great- grandsons.
