Davis, 49, who died suddenly at his home in Danielsville this morning, will be held Thursday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the Davis residence in Danielsville. Rev F.J. Hendrix, of the Arnoldsville Baptist church, will be the officiating minister. Interment will follow in the Davis cemetery with McDorman-Bridges in charge. The deceased was a member of the Baptist church, and had been active in religious, civic, and social life at Danielsville. He had resided in Madison county all his life. Survivors are: his widow, Mrs. Bell Berryman Davis; one daughter, Miss Allie Mae Davis, of Danielsville; three sons, James S. Davis, Hugh Dorsey Davis and Earl B. Davis, jr. (sic), all of Danielsville; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Hall, of Athens, and Mrs. Telie Hall of Bowman; and three brothers, Marshall Davis, Hester Davis, both of Danielsville and Hiram Davis, of Ila. .
