Born on December 24, 1946, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lemuel Escoe of Danielsville. He was a graduate of Madison County High School and Athens Technical College and had been employed with Reliance Electric, Athens, as a design engineer for 27 years. He was recently employed by North Georgia Tractor, Cornelia, as a sales representative. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where he was a deacon, Sunday School superintendent, and served on various committees. He was a veteran, having served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Mr. Escoe was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Freeman Escoe; and a sister, Joyce Escoe. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Donna Phillips Escoe; a son and daughter-in-law, Wesley Brent and Summer Escoe, Colbert; daughter and son-in- law, Kasie and David Brown, Hull; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy Escoe and Tommy Lord and Debra Escoe and Mark Waldrop, all of Danielsville. Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 13, at Trinity Baptist Church, Danielsville. Graveside services followed at Danielsville Memorial Gardens.
