Leonard L. Farr Rites

   Leonard L. Farr, 48, of 156 Grove St., died Tuesday, May 23, in and Athens 
hospital following several months illness.
   A native of Clinton, S.C., he had made his home in Athens for the past eight 
years.
   Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nelda Parham Farr; a daughter, Miss 
Deborah Farr of Athens; a son, Mike Horner of Downey, Calif.; a step-daughter, 
Miss Becky Gentry of Athens; his mother, Mrs. Annie Mae Farr of Athens; a 
sister, Mrs. Vera Mae Ross of Athens; six brothers, Hubert Dove Farr, Vernon 
Farr, Carlton Farr and james Farr, all of Athens, J. D. Farr of Greenville, S. 
C. and Bert Farr, Jr. of Atlanta.
   Services were held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Bernstein Funeral Home 
Chapel, with the Revs. Eugene Pettyjohn and William Cummings officiating.  
Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park.
