Roy Faulkner Rites

   Roy A. Faulkner of Colbert, retired from the University of George 
horticulture department, died Sunday in a local hospital.
   The funeral was held Monday at 4 p.m.at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home 
with the Revs. Harold Braswell, Gordon Fincher and Albert Turnell officiating.  
Burial was in Colbert Cemetery.
   Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Allie Mae Faulkner; one daughter, Mrs. 
Dewey (Marie) Seagraves, Athens; four sons, Kenneth Faulkner, Jerry Faulkner 
and Ronnie Faulkner of Colbert and Kerry Faulkner of Winterville; two sisters, 
Mrs. M. C. Parsons, Atlanta, and Mrs. M. N. Sailors, Decatur; one brother, 
Thomas Faulkner, Brimingham; sister-in-law, Mrs. Carey Faulkner of Athens, and 
a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
   He was a member of the Colbert Methodist Church.
