D. Faulkner Are Set For Friday William Dewey Faulkner, 46, well known resident of the Danielsville Rd, died in a local hospital Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. after an illness of five weeks. Services are to be held Friday from Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Eberhart, pastor of Colbert Methodist church, officiating. Burial will follow in Kincaid cemetery, Colbert. Leon Kincaid, Coy Lane, Copeland Lane and Wyatt Benton serving as pall bearers. Mr. Faulkner is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carey Faulkner, daughter, Mrs. Jack Williams, Athens; two sons, Lee Durell Faulkner; and Billy Lewis Faulkner, both of Athens; mother, Mrs. O. A. Faulkner, Colbert; two sisters, Mrs. M. N. Sailors and Mrs. M. C. Parson, bot of Atlanta; two brothers, T. J. Faulkner, Birmingham, Ala., and R. A Faulkner, Colbert; grandson, Jack Wiliams, Jr. A native of Colbert, Mr. Faulkner had been a resident of Clarke County for the past five years and had made many friends here since moving to this community.
