Miss Irene Fields Rites

   Miss Irene Fields, 70, of Rt. 1, Nicholson, Ga., died Sunday at her home 
after a long illness.
   She was born in Union County, a daughter of the late James and Nellie 
Gillespie Fields.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
   Surviving are sistres, Miss Iona Fields of Nicholson; brother, Durward 
Fields of Nicholson.
   Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tusday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church 
with the Revs. Rufus Roland and Pierce Norman officiating.  Burial was in the 
Gordon Chapel Unitd Methodist Church Cemetery
   Brown's Funeral Home of Danielsville was in charge of arrangements.
