Findley Dies Oct. 30, 1918 We are sorry to learn Wed. Oct 30, about 5 o'clock A.M. occurred the death of Mr. W.V. Findley. Mr. Findley was a good man by all who knew him. He was the Sunday School Teacher at Moon's Grove, and went to Sunday School every Sunday he was able until he was so seriously sick. The deceased leaves wife, and several children and grand-child, remaining a host of friends to mourn his death. He was 61 years old and was kind to everybody. He is resting in Jesus now. The angel carried him to heaven with his Sunday School Book in left hand and his walking stick on his right side and on his Sunday School Book the words said, "The Teacher," Mr. Findley has done paid the debt we all owe, and we don't know how soon we will be carried away as Mr. Findley was. But what was so pretty was those beautiful flowers on his casket. The Funeral services was conducted by Rev. Holme of Elberton Thursday Oct. 31, 2 P.M. The bereaved have our sympathy. A precious one from us is gone, A voice we loved is stilled, A place is vacant in our home, That never can be filled, Written by one who loved him. E.S.
