Mrs. Lucy J. Fortson, relict of the late Richard Fortsons, died at the home of 
her son-in-law, J. W. Beard, on Saturday last, after a brief illness, at the 
advanced age of 79 years.  She was buried here Sunday afternoon at 4 oclock, 
Rev. J. R. King conducting the funeral service.  Her husband ad preceded her 
several years and she was gone to join him.  She leaves several children and a 
host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends to mourn her death.  To 
the bereaved we extend our heartfelt sympathy.
