Freeman was taken suddenly ill on Monday at 2 o'clock with a stroke of paralysis and expired at 5 o'clock without regaining consciousness. Mr. Freeman was a much respected and well-known resident of Madison county, having spent his whole life here and was a member of Mt. Hermon Presbyterian church; he was 62 years of age and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jim Mercier Freeman, and one brother, Mr. John Freeman of Pocataligo; he was buried at Ila Cemetery, services being conducted by Rev.
