Raleigh W. Gabriel

WINDER -- Raleigh W. Gabriel, 82, died Saturday.  Funeral services will be 
today at 3 p.m. at Auburn United Methodist Church, Auburn, Ala.  The Revs 
Edwin Moore and Joe Mason will officiate and burial will be in Auburn Cemetery.

Mr. Gabriel is survived by his widow, Mrs. Viola R. Gabriel; three daughters, 
Mrs. J. M. Johnson of Comer, Mrs. G. W. Johnson of Toccoa and Mrs. Alfred 
Roberts of Athens; six sons, Parks C. Gabriel and J. Crawford Gabriel, both of 
Crawford, Edward R. Gabriel of Gainesville, David Gabriel of Hoschton, Paul 
Gabriel of Mableton and Loran Gabriel of Smyrna; one stepson, Gene Barrett of 
Atlanta; three brothers, J. M. Gabriel of Winterville, A. A. Gabriel of 
Seattle, Wash., and P. D. Gabriel of Warner Robins; 36 grandchildren and 30 
great-grand-children.

Wise Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
