Clinton Gholston Dead

   On last Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock, occurred the death of Mr. W. 
Clinton Gholston at Greenville, S. C.  He had just gone to his work of fitting 
mirrors into frames in a large furniture factory, occupying a room to himself 
though near other workers, one of whom saw him ease down suddeny from his work 
and going to him found him with pliers still clasped in his hand.  He was 
removed immediately to the lobby of the building, breathing slightly, though 
never regaining consciousness.  He had been at Greenville for several months, 
having worked himself into a responsible position, commanding the respect of 
the company and his fellow workers.
   His brothers, Dr. W. D. and Mr. J. T. Gholston went over immediately, 
bringing the remains to Danilesvile, the interment taking place in cemetery 
here at two o'clock, the services being conducted by Rev. H. O. .Green.  A 
large numbert of friends were present to pay respects to the deceased and 
family.  Beautiful floral offerings accompanied the body from Greenville 
attesting his popularity in his new home as well as a good number from friends 
here.  He is survived by the widow, one daughter, Miss Fay Gholston, of 
Danielsville; three brothers, Dr. W. D. Gholston, J. T. Gholsston, of 
Danielsvile, Mark M. Gholston, of LaGrange; one sister, Mrs. Andy Glenn of 
Neese, Ga.
   Mr. Gholston was born and reared in Madison County and had spent the 
greater portion of his life in this immediated section where he had a large 
acquaintance and many friends.
