GILES RITES

   Sgt. Arthur James Giles, 57, retired, of Route 2, Hull, died Tuesday, 
December 9, 1980.

   Sgt. Giles, a native of Hall County, Ga., was the son of the late Dewey 
Arthur and Mary Smith Giles.  He was a member of the Northside 
Baptist Church.  Sgt. Giles served over 20 years in U. S. Army.  Full 
military services was rendered.  Bridges Funeral Home was in charge 
of services. 

   Funeral was held from Bridges Funeral Home Chapel, Athens, on 
Thursday, December 11, 1980, with Rev. Virgil Edwards officiating. 
Interment was in Evergreen Memorial Park with full military services.
