Madison County Journal, 12 Oct 2006
Howard E. Grant, Sr., 62, of Comer, died Monday, October 2, 2006.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Grant; three daughters, Alicia Reece, 
Pamela Kinney, Veronica Grant; eight sons, Howard, Jr., Lonnie, Dexter, Andre, 
Terrance, Jermanie, Orlando Grant, and Rod Martin; two sisters, Sharon Grant 
and Sandra Hubbard; two brothers, Joe and Shellie Grant.

Funeral services were held Friday, October 6, at Gholston Baptist Church. 
Burial was in the church cemetery.

Jackson-McWhorter Funeral Home, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
