Danielsville Monitor 23 Feb 1906
Lillian, the little one year old child of J. E. Griffeth, died at his home 
near Colbert, last Saturday afternoon, after a very brief illness, and was 
laid to rest in the cemetery here Sunday afternoon, Rev. A. F. Nunn conducting 
the services.  While the little child had always been in delicate health, it 
was thought to be doing nicely until it was taken suddenly Thursday night and 
died Saturday.  To the bereaved father and his children and the other 
relatives we say grieve not for little Lillian, as she is at rest, having gone 
to join the sainted mother, who preceded her to the celestial shores about a 
year ago, and they are there now with beckoning hands, awaiting the coming of 
those who are left behind.
