Funeral of Mrs. Amanda Grimes Here Saturday

   Mrs. Amanda Grimes died at her home in Carlton, Ga. last Saturday and 
funeral services were conducted here Saturday afternoon.
    Mrs. Grimes widow of the late Mr. Cap Grimes Grimes was one of the older 
residents of our county and had been promoinently connected with the church 
and social affairs of her community.  She was a devout member of the Baptist 
church carrying with her in her daily walk the teachings of her Lord and 
Master.
    Surviving Mrs. Grimes are two sons:  Messers. Jim and Will Grimes; two 
daughters:  Miss Emma and Mrs. J. A. Tittle to whom the sympathy of their 
friends is extended in the loss of their mother.
