Hill, 74 of Route 5, died Thursday, July 9, 1992. A native of Madison County, Mr. Hill was the son of the late Bunion and Vessie Lee Rich Hill. He had retired from Gold Kist, was a member of the Berea Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Berea Baptist Church. The Revs. Grady Jordan and Dennis Kesler will officiate and burial will be in Jackson Memorial Park. The body will be placed in the church at 3:30 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Mary Edins Hill; two sons, Charles Hill, Commerce and Horace Hill, Jefferson; four daughters, Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, Hull, Doris Boswell, Jefferson, Linda Brown, commerce and Mary Hembree, Nicholson; two sisters, Willie Rich Manley Lowe, Winterville and Grace Rich Smith, Royston; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
