Cam Haggard Rites


Mr. Cam B. Haggarad, 83, of Danielsville, died Monday ofthis week in the BJC 
hospital at Commerce following an extended illness.
   Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 3 p.m.at the Providence Baptist 
Church.  Revs. Edgar Crosby, L. G. Humphrey, Herbert Doug, & J. C. Parker 
officiated.  Burial was in Chandler Cemetery.
   Grandsons served as pallbearers.
   A native of Madison County, Mr. Haggard was a member of the Providence 
Baptist Church, the deacon body, John H. Jones Masonic Lodge 348, 
Danielsville.  His wife was the late Mrs. Mattie Lee Embry Haggard.
   Survivors include:  five daughters, Mrs. Allie Lee Smith, of Marietta, Mrs. 
Annie Sue Dusbin, of Danielsville, Mrs. Mattie Lou Swindle, of Commerce, Mrs. 
Drucilla Wilson and Mrs. Mary Ruth Brooks, both of Danielsville; two sons, 
Alvin Hagard, of Stonewall, and A. B. Haggard, of Danielsville; one brother, 
Carlton Haggard, of Commerce; one sister, Mrs. Beulah Scarbrough of Anderson, 
S. C.; 11 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
